Behind The Expertise - Nolan Property Solutions was founded by Jaime Nolan, previously a master certified building inspector within the National Association of Home Inspectors(NAHI), now ASHI. Jaime was introduced into the world of building construction from an early age by his father Jim, through the family business. Now, with over 15 years experience(20 years including apprenticeship) in inspections, as well as working on the construction and renovation side of the industry in since 2014, Jaime has intimately investigated thousands of homes on a technical level, far exceeding the minimal requirements for a traditional "walk-through" pre-purchase home inspection. After carefully studying the various methods of construction and system design changes, documenting the condition and performance of each system at various stages of life, it became increasingly apparent that industry changes and lost knowledge over time has created an environment that keeps the average homeowner and investor/landlord bouncing from project to project and often dealing with recurring issues, some soon after Day 1; yes, even with new construction. Thus, after seeing the gradual degradation of our housing standards over the years, Jaime decided to begin helping homeowners and investors/landlords repair and maintain their properties with the quality and reliability needed to ensure peace of mind.
Many specialized contractors do not have the same opportunity to explore the home as a whole, to see the larger picture and observe the working relationships between their system and the many other factors of home performance, typically out of their purview or area of expertise. This can lead to the covering of a symptom rather than addressing the root of the problem - particularly if the problem has not been properly diagnosed. Additionally, recent developments within the construction community have thrown many contractors into a frenzy trying to keep up.
Mission Statement - An expert home consultant/handyperson will be able to properly diagnose concerns, many times, finding deferred maintenance or broken items that a homeowner or investor/landlord does not even know exists, as well as prescribe any needed repairs of system failures to properly address the concerns noted. An accurate diagnosis and plan of action for correcting issues helps the homeowner or investor/landlord to deal with the issue at hand, while avoiding costly repair work that may or may not completely solve your concern.
Company Policy - It is our keystone policy that we approach every home as if it were our own. We respect your property and maintain a standard of care in our work. We will spend any extra time needed to accurately diagnose your concerns and never leave you in the dark. There is no problem too large or too small for us to tackle.
Though the company was founded as a sole proprietorship, it is our goal to grow our team of knowledgeable expert consultants that can help ensure every client is attended to.
